About Treetops

Each week we seek to provide quality care and education for around 120 children from our local area. We have great facilities, equipment and a dynamic staff team.

Children attend either two or three days each week in classes of 30 children with our 3-4 years old attending on Monday-Tuesday or Thursday-Friday, and our 4-5 years old attending on Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Thursday-Friday.

Each group has a dedicated staff team to provide for their needs and progress. Each team consists of an Early Childhood Teacher, a Diploma and a Certificate III trained child care worker. With these staff we constantly maintain a ratio of one staff member for every ten children.

Our staff has extensive experience in preparing, monitoring and evaluating daily activities to assist each child to develop to their full potential through their individualised program (Treetops Planning Cycle). Our two year preschool program prepares each child individually for their more formal years of schooling.

Our preschool Management Committee, made up of interested parents and church members, works hard to keep preschool fees as low as possible without compromising on quality experiences for our children and their families. They also aim to ensure our compliance with National Quality Standards and the regulations for operating.

Our philosophy is that children are continuously learning through their play as they engage in a secure, caring, stimulating environment. Uniting Early Learning is a ministry of the Uniting Church in Australia and as such we at Treetops, whilst recognising and respecting the cultural and religious backgrounds of each family, aim to acknowledge and reflect our own Christian basis in our program.
